Scammed and put a stop payment through bank and credit card

I was scammed on December 1, 2020! I have reached out to PayPal on messages and called, but no one answered. Because the scammer convinced me to send a PayPal me payment without checking the box for goods and services, PayPal would not stop the payment! I called my bank and had a stop payment placed on it and also blocked any payments requested from Sam from PayPal. The bank and credit company put a stop to that, but I just got a notice today that my PayPal balance is showing-$213!!!!! I had $12 PayPal cash in my account and evidently they took that $12 and charged me $213. I did not want to pay any amount to that scammer! Does this mean that I owe PayPal $213? Did Sam receive $225 or just $12? I am furious about all of this and the lack of communication with PayPal! Help me, please! I have proof with all the messages between both parties! He/she was supposed to send a shipping confirmation and once they saw that the payment was sent, they totally ignored all communication and left the conversation! They blocked me on Facebook and will not respond to any emails! I am furious! This person also used a Facebook account with the name Bolsillo
