Refund to a closed bank account

Description

Hi, I have a refund from one of the local airline here in the Philippines. I used my debit card to pay for the airplane ticket. Now, the bank account associated with my debit card is already closed. I reached out to my bank regarding this and contacted them several times already but they keep telling me that if the account is already closed then the refund should be rejected or it will bounce back. I also reached out to the support of PayPal in Twitter and in Facebook Messenger but they keep telling me to contact the card provider since the refund status is already completed they insists that refund is successfully credited back to the debit card. Now, I am waiting if they will provide a proof of transfer to the bank so I can show it to the card provider. Can you give me some advice regarding this? Thanks in advance!
