Missing refund/Missing transaction as well

Hello, I have a question regarding my missing refund. I placed an order on November 26th and paid with PayPal. In the end, I didn’t confirm the order. Nevertheless, my money was locked in the PayPal account under the status ‘pending’ for a certain time. Unfortunately one day the whole transaction just disappeared from PayPal, was not refunded and I cannot find any trace of it. I only have the PayPal authorization of this transaction, which I received by e-mail, so I can provide all necessary data to the transaction ID. What should I do in this case?
