Instant Transfer Fees

Hello all, I have noticed in my bank statements recently that PayPal has taken a percentage of money from my transfers. It is not always the same amount of fees taken out, which has really stumped me. I’m aware of the fees that instant transfer applies when you select that option, but I don’t ever recall choosing that. I always select the standard transfer to my bank, I’ve assumed/assuming it is still free. Can anyone elaborate? Is standard transfers still free? Has PayPal moved everything to instant transfers?
