Error when trying to add money to paypal cash card

United States. Bank payroll card/debit card/mastercard. I just recently received my paypal cash card. I have already confirmed my bank and linked it. I keep trying to add money from my bank card to my paypal cash card and I keep getting a message saying an error has occurred, please try again in a few minutes. I chatted with online support. They verified that my bank link is good and gave me a link to try from to add money twice. I have tried clearing cash and cookies on my phone. I tried from the app and my browser. I tried from my laptop in my browser. I tried deleting my bank info and re-submitting. I have been trying for a few days and am still unsuccessful. The online support gave me a number to call, but I was hoping someone here would be able to help so I didn’t have to sit on the phone. Am I missing something? Is it possible that it is not working because my bank info is a payroll card even though it is from a bank? If the latter is true, how else can I add money to my cash card without being charged a fee?
