Refund still showing pending but the money has been taken out of my bank account.

Hi I have sent refunds to two people, it went out of my bank account so took a while however the money has been taken out of my bank account, it just says PayPal but they are for the exact amounts of the refunds so I assume they are that as I’ve not made any other purchases for that amount. However its still showing in my PayPal activity as pending, I’m just wondering why if I’ve already refunded them and had the money taken of me, shouldn’t it say completed.
