Pending Transactions for Pay in 4 I didn’t use

Today I tried to make a purchase. I wanted to use Pay in 4 as I’ve used it once and it went just fine. However I was struggling with the merchant website. So after applying and getting approved I had to close out of the PayPal tab and go back to my cart to try and update my shipping. I ended up having to do it a second time before I got it all straightened out. However, I noticed in my activity that I had two pending charges for what would have been the first payment of the Pay in 4. I didn’t end up using the loan in order to make the purchase and I’m concerned that I’m going to be charged for a loan I didn’t use. Has anyone had this issue and resolved it? I reached out to PayPal via their messaging method and I haven’t heard back.
