My Paypal account was hacked around 5th of June, this year

My account was hacked and I’ve discovered it lately looking into my bank statements. But I had first signal of it on 15th of June when I lost contact with my account as PP stopped recognising email addresses associated with this account. As a result I had to set up a new PP account. But quite lately I found out suspicious activity running on my account starting from 6th of June and continuing until 4th of August, when I blocked my first debit card associated with this PP account. Today I found the same types of transactions on my other bank account that started on 9th of August. They were done using my second debit card related to this PP account. Now I have to block this debit card, too, and get myself left without access to this account, and I’m on holiday abroad now. I’ve tried to contact Paypal help team but they seem to avoid us, customers, by giving them ready-made answers and articles that do not solve this specific problem. And I’ve got no time and patience to shuffle through hundreds of them. I contacted them through Message Service – no answer, and now I sent an email to their claims department. Has any of you had the same issue and how you dealt with it?
