My Bank Account was removed from my PayPal after payment

Hello, recently I ordered some clothes online that I payed for successfully through my PayPal. But earlier today I received an email stating that my bank account would be removed and that I would now have a negative balance on PayPal. My order went through a few days before, and I believe my account was charged. I don’t really want to add my bank account back to my PayPal yet or pay out my balance as I don’t want to risk paying twice as much as I have already. Does anyone know what is going on or what I can do? Thanks
