Is there a time limit to how long Paypal holds my payments?

Description

Couldn’t get any actual help from that bot assistant… so I’m turning to the community. I do not have my SSN Document and Photo ID on hand, in fact, I don’t even know where they are…. does PayPal delete my transaction if I can’t accept it after a period of time, or am I still able to use the funds? I don’t know when I can regain access to the required documents, so I’m concerned about my payment(s) being removed and sent back to the customer if I don’t have the documents sent and confirmed for a while.
