I sent a $1000 personal payment sent to nephew, still pending after 4 days

My nephews email address has been in my profile for years. No new address or email changes. No new linked bank accounts or credit cards. It’s just a very smart algorithm. I called PP customer service to have the transaction expedited or manually reviewed. Nope. I asked if I can cancel the transaction. Nope. Can I speak to someone above your pay grade. Nope. I then asked what should I do? I was told just wait for the review should not be longer than 72 hours, and then we will let you know.
