Description
Hi everyone I’m after some guidance on the best way to process payments for my E commerce business. I sell bespoke items which are tailor made to the customers needs. Therefore using an integrated checkout solution on a website is not suitable. The best way for me to accept payments is via ‘requesting’ payment or asking my clients to send directly to my PayPal account. This is all via Goods/services of course and is therefore subject to around ~3.2% domestic or ~5.3% for international transactions. I am currenlty turning over around £20k per month, the fees are ruining my margins. I am thinking about moving away from PayPal but wanted to get clarity on if the fees are reduced once you reach a certain amount of turnover per month? It seems ‘PayPal Here’ has the faciitliy for fees to drop once you hit a certain turnover.. This is for point of sale transactions only though as I understand.
