help with canceling payment

Hi, I recently decided to purchase a clock off of a Facebook ad. I know, probably not the best idea, but it all looked legit.. until after I made the purchase and looking at the comments on Facebook. The clock is not at all how it’s described for 99% of the customers. When I purchased it through newlifet.com it gave me the option to pay with PayPal or with a debit card. I chose debit card, entered all my information, and purchased but I get an email from PayPal with the receipt information, not the website I ordered from. I’m guessing because of a business deal of some kind. So I’m trying to cancel the payment because it says its still pending after a couple days. My bank says you’ll have to talk to PayPal. of course their phone # service is automated and message center was automated… zero help, horrible customer service. The resolution center isn’t showing anything either.. so I’m not sure what to do.
