Find out the Status of a Payment

Hi I’m hoping someone can help with a bit of advice or information. I purchased some furniture through eBay and paid through PayPal. At first it said my linked credit card could not be used – turns out the credit card company sentry service blocked the payment. I managed to pay for it through the linked bank account though. The seller then got in touch to say it was listed in error and that the furniture was already sold and they would refund me right away. The seller is local. That was Saturday. I’ve messaged them a couple of times since and heard nothing. I’ll take up the dispute with eBay for that if I hear nothing further. In PayPal it shows the money as being sent (under Money Out) but I don’t think its come off my bank account yet. I don’t seem to have anyway of knowing the status of the payment or to know if its clear and the other person has it in their account now or if its pending someplace and I can somehow stop it or recall it. There’s a transaction ID but that’s pretty much it. Does anyone know how I can find out if it has sent or if its pending or even just anything? Thanks for any advice Solved! Go to Solution.
