eBay Transaction

Description

I tried to purchase an item on ebay and I created the PayPal account specially for that since the seller wouldn’t accept another method of payment. so after I paid and received an email from Paypal confirming that the transaction was completed. the seller contacted me claiming that I cancelled the transaction showing me a notification saying that (didn’t look like a formal email!) and asking if I still want the item! and when I checked my Paypal account I found it showing ‘Refunded’ with the exact amount and no further details. I did not ask for cancellation or a refund and when I checked with my bank they said that the money is ‘on hold’. so does this mean I will get my money back through paypal? or is there a way to complete the transaction.
