Automatic Payments Switching Credit Cards on its own

Hello all. 2 questions regarding automatic payments please: 1) I have experienced a recurrent problem where I have set up a particular vendor to be on consistent automatic monthly payments with a particular credit card (I have more than one card on file with PayPal but have assigned one card per vendor that I do not change month to month). However on some random months the card that I chose to be used for a particular vendor is switched to another card I have on file but that I did not want to be used (and did not choose) for that vendor. Does anyone know why and how to prevent this? 2) Also when I look at a particular vendor within automatic payments, it often says my last monthly payment to that vendor was 2-3 months ago, despite the activity » tab listing payments more recently (the current month which is correct since they are monthly payments). Why is the last payment to the vendor under automatic payments tab incorrect/not updated properly (this happens for more than one vendor) ? »
