why is my money still on hold?

hello i sold an item on ebay around the 20th or 21st, i then shipped off the item and attached a tracking number. it arrived on the 25th and the buyer even confirmed this but paypal was still holding the money. i was told if i added a tracking number on paypal and it confirmed the items arrival i would get the money in about a day although its been a few days since then and i haven’t gotten the money yet/ its still on hold. does anyone know how i can get it or do i just have to wait? if i have to wait, how long? thanks for any help
