Paypal is committing theft, as far as I am concerned.

Description

I ‘paypaled’ my cousin over 6k in December, as a gift, so he could repair his boat. Paypal took the money from my account, and then slapped restrictions on it. I proved who I was, etc. ok. Cousin made an account, so he could prove who he was, and receive the money. And the money didn’t come. And didn’t come. and his bank had no info. and had no info. And finally paypal told him he had to provide info. So he did. and he waited and he waited. And he can’t reach paypal on the phone. And he messaged and messaged. And they told him he had to talk to someone on the phone. but due to covid, no one comes to the phone. But they tell him he has to talk on the phone. and he messaged. And they said they’d email him. and no email comes. And meanwhile, they took my money. And I have no control over getting it back. Because it is out of my bank. And it isn’t at his bank. And they tell him he has to call. But no one at paypal answers the phone. There is no way to leave a message. It’s been over 3 weeks. Over the magical 21 days. And paypal has a free loan of my ~6k$. So I am calling my state’s Attorney General’s office Tuesday morning.
