correct payment allocations

what do you have to do to get them to allocate payments correctly.for me its been going on for 4 months.they keep telling me they fixed it but when i check my account nothings been done.it looks to me that synchrony is purposely trying to rig it so they can charge me interest.this does not sit well with me.they did this to me on a Sams account which resulted in me paying off and closing the account.i am fixing to close any account i have through synchrony.already started on lowes. opened an account at homedepot instead,they are with citibank.i will do the same thing with paypal if they refuse to do the right thing before i let them **bleep** me.i had sams account for over 12 yrs.had paypal for 6 or 7.if paypal doesnt want my business just keep lying to me and try to charge me that interest i’ll kiss them goodbye just like lowes and sams.synchrony is NOT the only bank out there that wants my business.with my credit rating i get offers every week.guess its time i started looking into them.
