Check cashing on the mobile app

Description

Is it possible to cash a check that was written to someone else initially, then written over to me and signed by both as me being payee’ would that validate on PayPal? (Example- like it was written to my friend but they made me the payee and they signed it and then I signed it regularly if all that was done love you allowed? Because I’ve seen it it says you don’t cash checks made out to other people but if it was endorsed for me to cash would that go through?
