PayPal Here app showed payment was accepted – now PayPal will not release the money to me

There is $1676.00 since August 14,2020 in credit card payments that the paypal here app showed as accepted when it was entered/swiped. Only after the customer left and I checked the sales activity did I see orange marks. This is NOT acceptable. If your app shows it was accepted, Paypal needs to make the payment go through. When are going to release this money to me?
I messaged customer service and was given 2 totally different answers – one stated « there is a rolling 7 day hold on charges over$500 ». The next one stated « we are sorry, but those charges cannot be processed ».
I can’t speak to any human or supervisor. This is NOT acceptable since at the time payment was processed with the PayPal here app, it showed it was accepted.
Has anyone else had this happen?
If so, what is the real reason and how was it resolved?
