Payments on hold even with providing endless proof.

Description

So I recently sold an item on ebay to another person, I shipped it out to them WITH PROOF by sending a real receipt with the shipping number and everything. Sent that to PayPal as well and I was told to wait 48 hours before payments can be used on my account. Now the other person that was sending me money accidentally doubled the money that was owed to me and now I can’t use it unless its payed back. I couldn’t instantly pay it back yet because I dont get payed for another couple of weeks, and the other person said to cash app half of it to his cousin. I said if they transfer can go through I will send over the other half with proof as well immediately. Paypal then said I need proof of a transfer and I said I can’t do that unless the payments go through. Me and the other person agreed on something. With the whatever remaining money I had left, I could get a visa gift card for him so I did and I provided proof as well. My payment still hasn’t gone through even though I have provided so much proof. If I don’t get my money and the other person that I sent the item too gets it and I get nothing, I will be very angry.
