How to Add Joint Bank Account – what should the name be?

I have a paypal account in my name – for example John Smith I want to add my wife and I’s joint bank account but paypal says the account name must match Our joint account is in the name Mr JOHN Smith & Mrs Jennifer A Smith Does this mean that I need to change my paypal account name to Mr JOHN Smith & Mrs Jennifer A Smith and does it even need to be as exact as the uppercase first name?
