My ebay buyer accidentally clicked on refund when purchasing my item. This initiated a PayPal claim against me. The claim stated that it was an unauthorised transaction. How can the claim be be against me when the transaction was unauthorised by the buyer? I messaged thebuyer throughebay twice to see if he can resolve the issue from his end by withdrawing the claim, he has not responded. Luckily I had not dispatched the item. I have messaged PayPal at 3:01 14th of May, no response from them. Tried to call them, can’t speak to a human. Question is, should I post the item to the buyer, (who has paid paypal but because there is a dispute the money is on hold), or should I wait for paypal to respond by cancelling the case and releasing the money?
