Multiple issues with linking bank to account and Paypal credit was CLOSED.

I have called multiple times now in the past few months to find out why I cannot link my bank. My bank has said there was no problem on their end both times I asked. I have seen that $1 was deposited into my account by Paypal so that confirms that Paypal can see my bank account. When I called the Paypal customer service the agent said to give it a few days which I did and assumed my bank account was linked to Paypal afterwards as I had been permitted to setup auto pay for my Paypal credit line. 4/28/2020 I was called by a random number and asked to make a payment to my Paypal credit account. I thought it might be a scammer, so I declined, called the number listed online for Synchrony, and was directed to the correct portion of Synchrony that handles the Paypal credit. I then made a payment over the phone call and assumed my payment would immediately post to my Synchrony account. On 4/29/2020 (yesterday), I logged into Paypal and I started seeing a notice that my Paypal credit account is CLOSED and Synchrony stated they cannot reopen it. This now means that this is going to affect my credit score negatively. Additionally, I was told by the Synchrony agent that when I attempted to link my bank account to Paypal I should have been prompted to confirm the amount deposited into my account by Paypal. I never had a notification show up for me after logging into the application and I’ve logged in a lot. When I called Paypal support no one bothered to ask if I saw the amount to confirm. I even asked to be escalated to a manager to see if they could help me and received push back from the agent that I would have to wait for the bank account to link. Why was I not asked if I saw the amount that Paypal deposited into my bank account so I could set up the automatic payment setup successfully? Also, I cannot setup an auto payment with Synchrony directly. I confirmed this yesterday with two different Synchrony agents – with whom I will say I had a MUCH better experience with than ANY of my recent calls to Paypal support. To date my bank account is STILL being denied access to add on Paypal. I would like to dispute the Paypal credit account being closed due to nonpayment because I tried and assumed that since I was allowed to setup autopayment with my bank account that the funds would be withdrawn, and my bank account had been successfully added. I would also like to report there is a problem with the application not prompting for the amount deposited into my bank by either logging into the application or via push notifications to my cellphone. I would also like to report the lack of customer service that would actually help your customers regarding linking bank accounts and what looks to me to be a lack of either care or knowledge of process on Paypals agents part. Fyi I am in I.T. and I have worked at a call center for places Elon Musk partners with not for his personal investments. I know for sure this would not have been acceptable if I or any of the agents I was over had provided the same lack of positive results for the requester. My final question is who is at a higher level to get all of this fixed now? I’m going to assume and hope tier two support and management would not have handled my issues so poorly.
