## PayPal Credit – A Fraud Investigation Turned Nightmare

I’m sitting here fuming, feeling like I got tangled in PayPal’s bureaucratic nightmare.

Yesterday, I used my PayPal Credit to snag a $1660 item on eBay – everything went smoothly. But then things took a nosedive. I tried to purchase another item, a $800 one, and bam! My credit was suddenly frozen. I tried cheaper items, more expensive items – anything to break the logjam, but it didn’t matter. I had over $1800 of credit available, yet PayPal wouldn’t budge.

Their “customer service” was about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. Chatting with PayPal Credit support, I was told it wasn’t their issue, it was PayPal itself. So I turned to PayPal, only to be met with a wall. Apparently, their fraud department had flagged my account. “Use a different payment method or try again in a few days,” they offered nonchalantly, “With *no guarantees*.”

“No guarantees”? Are you kidding me? This isn’t some kind of gambling app! I’ve been a loyal customer, actively using my credit responsibly. Suddenly, I’m labelled a potential fraudster with no explanation?

My eBay purchase had to be cancelled, leaving me looking like a stand-up comedian’s punchline. Now I’m probably facing an unpaid strike, thanks to PayPal’s negligent and frankly unacceptable “investigation.”

PayPal, wake up! You’re in the business of facilitating payments, not throwing roadblocks in your customers’ paths. This isn’t about security, it’s about incompetence and a complete disregard for customer experience. You’ve lost my trust, and frankly, my business.
