To begin: I have a $3500 credit limit with PayPal. Yesterday I made a $1660 purchase with PayPal credit on eBay with no issues. Next I tried to buy another item for $800 and it won’t let me. I have tried to buy other cheaper items and more expensive items and it won’t let me. I have $1800+ of credit left. There are no issues errors or notifications on my account. I spoke with PayPal credit customer service via live chat and they said it’s not them it’s PayPal. So I asked PayPal as they apparently can’t help over the phone right now? And they said that it’s their fraud department declining it and to use a different payment method or try again in a few days with “no guarantees.” What kind of customer service or business is this? I have the credit available and I want to use it. Are they in the business of making money or not? I’m **bleep**. I committed to buy the item on eBay and now it had to be cancelled and I look like a jerk. Probably got an unpaid strike. Thanks PayPal.
