Il s’agit de l’adaptation du webtoon Now at Our School (지금 우리 학교는, 2009) de Joo Dong-geun (주동근)3,4.
Synopsis[|]
Les étudiants du lycée Hyosan se trouvent coincés dans le campus, ravagé par les zombies. Les derniers élèves survivants à cette catastrophe doivent trouver tant bien que mal un moyen de s’échapper du lycée puis de la ville, alors que les autorités ont déclaré la loi martiale et bloqué tous les accès à la ville. Ils risquent à leur tour de devenir des zombies5.

Développement[|]
Le 12 avril 2020, Netflix annonce dans un communiqué de presse que JTBC Studios et Film Monster produiraient une série intitulée All of Us Are Dead, adaptée sur le webtoon Now at Our School7,8.
Le 6 juin 2022, la seconde saison est annoncée9.
Attribution des rôles[|]
Le 19 avril 2020, Yoon Chan-young est confirmé pour jouer dans la série, en tant que l’un des étudiants10. Le 22 avril, Park Ji-hoo rejoint la distribution principale11. Le 1er juillet, Cho Yi-hyun, Park Solomon et Yoo In-soo les rejoignent officiellement12. Le 6 juillet, Oh Hee-joon les rejoint13. Le 30 juillet, Bae Hae-sun et Ahn Seung-gyun sont choisis pour leur rôle secondaire14.
