when will vladimir guerrero jr be a free agent ?

Here’s a blog post on the topic “When Will Vladimir Guerrero Jr Be a Free Agent?”

As the 2022 season comes to a close, fans of the Toronto Blue Jays are wondering when their star first baseman, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., will become a free agent. Guerrero Jr., who is only 23 years old, is currently under contract with the Blue Jays until 2025, but he will be eligible for free agency in 2026.

For those who may not be familiar, Guerrero Jr. is one of the most promising young players in baseball. He has already shown his incredible potential, winning the American League MVP award in 2021 and being named to the All-Star team in 2022. With his impressive stats and his young age, he is expected to be one of the most sought-after free agents on the market.

But what does his future hold? Will he stay with the Blue Jays or sign with another team when he becomes a free agent in 2026? The answer to this question is not yet clear, but there are a few things that we can expect.

Firstly, Guerrero Jr. has already indicated that he would never sign with the New York Yankees, a team that is often considered to be a rival of the Blue Jays. This means that he may be more likely to sign with another team outside of the division.

Secondly, Guerrero Jr. is expected to command a massive deal, with some reports suggesting that he could earn upwards of $30 million per year. This is a significant amount of money, and it’s unlikely that the Blue Jays will be able to retain him without making a serious commitment to him.

Finally, Guerrero Jr. is still young and has a lot of growing to do. He is likely to continue to improve over the next few years, and he may even reach new heights as a player. This means that whoever signs him in 2026 will be getting a player who is still in his prime and has many years of greatness ahead of him.

So, when will Vladimir Guerrero Jr. be a free agent? The answer is simple: he will be a free agent in 2026. But what will happen after that is anyone’s guess. One thing is for sure, however: Guerrero Jr. is a player who will be highly sought after, and his future is bright.
