#### All-Time Franchise Records
The Miami Dolphins franchise, now in its 57th season (since 1966), boasts a remarkable all-time record of 481 wins, 388 losses, and 4 ties. This puts them among the top franchises in NFL terms, considering their longevity and competitive nature over the years.

One of the most astounding achievements ever in football history took place during the 1972 season when the Dolphins went 14-0 before winning Super Bowl VII, defeating the Washington Redskins with a score of 14-7. This perfect regular season led by Dan Marino remains a golden moment in team history. The Dolphins have two Super Bowl appearances and victories (Super Bowl XVII and Super Bowl XXII), making them one of the most successful teams in NFL history.

#### Notable Players
The Dolphins have seen numerous NFL hall of famers like Dan Marino, the all-time passing leader, and Larry Csonka, the franchise’s all-time rushing leader. Dan Marino holds the record for most career passing yards (61,361) and most passing touchdowns (420), setting the stage for many future quarterbacks to follow in his footsteps. Larry Csonka, who also played on the offensive line, became the first player to have 1000 rushing yards and 1000 receiving yards in the same season, showcasing the versatile nature of the Dolphins’ early success.

#### 2021 Season
For context, we can look at how the team performed in the 2021 season:

Their 2022 record of 5-3 is solid and places them 3rd in the AFC East, setting the stage for another exciting season.
