The 8915-E Form is projected to be e-fileable starting 02/24/2021, unfortunately. As of today 2/12/2021, IRS just completed its final development of the 2020 version of this form. Please click on the following link and sign up for an email notification when it’s fixed. Form 8915-E

HR Block’s website says the 8915-E will be available today. Updated the software with today’s release. In the software it now says to wait until 3/19 release.

The IRS updated their e-file system this week to allow Form 8915-E to be e-filed instead of requiring it to be mailed. We previously told you that you needed to mail Form 8915-E to file your qualified 2020 disaster retirement distributions. With the recent IRS change, we’ve updated our software to allow you to e-file Form 8915-E.
