Card used on another account, removed, still unable to add on new account?

Description

Hey guys! So my debit card was linked to my boyfriend’s PayPal account because I didn’t have a PayPal at the time. Well I made one and when I tried to add my card it said it was in use on another account. So we went and deleted it off of his account, but now it still won’t let me add it to mine saying it’s still in use on another account? How do I fix this?
