I am receiving transfers into my PayPal account from unknown sources. I don’t want to enable a scam by simply refunding the money. What is the best advice to protect my own account from fraud as well as thwarting a scam? Additional details if needed: There have been 4 deposits spanning several months. The first deposit I contacted the sender and reversed the transaction thinking it simply erroneous. The remaining 3 deposits have happened within the past 60 days and I have not done anything about them now that I suspect more than an innocent mistake. No one has contacted me about them. The sender is listed as an LLC and the website associated with the business is non-existent. Thank you for any advice you can give or insight as to how this scam operates.
