Hi there! Today, I wanted to share an experience I had with a company regarding a refund that I was expecting but never received. It’s a bit frustrating and confusing, and I thought I’d outline the situation in case anyone else has run into similar issues or has advice to offer.

#### The Initial Issue

I recently changed my payment plan from a monthly subscription to a yearly one with a certain company. During this process, they mistakenly billed me for the monthly subscription, despite me having already paid for the yearly plan.

#### Communication with the Company

When I brought this to their attention, the company promptly acknowledged their error and promised to issue a refund. They confirmed this via email, sending me a receipt showing that they had indeed sent the funds back to me via PayPal. The email also included the transaction ID and the exact amount that should have appeared in my PayPal account.

#### The Missing Funds

Despite the email confirmation and the transaction details provided, the transaction never appeared in my PayPal account. I double-checked my account, but everything looked normal except for this missing refund. This was bewildering, as the confirmation email came directly from the company and PayPal showed no indication of the transaction ever taking place.

#### Escalation

Naturally, I was concerned and reached out to the company again, this time submitting a support ticket to get to the bottom of the issue. It’s disheartening when a problem persists after being initially addressed, but sometimes these things happen and require further investigation.

Unfortunately, the support ticket didn’t yield any additional information. I’ve provided all the necessary details—transaction IDs, dates, and any other relevant information—but have yet to receive a resolution.
