PayPal customer service is shocking. A mistake was made which resulted in a payment being put into an old account, an account of which the card number no longer existed. After hours across multiple days on the phone to the poor customer service team I still haven’t been given an option to recover the account, the women only repeatedly asked for a card number that no longer existed, and when I was finally put through to the manager he offered nothing other than better English. We have every other means of verification but they aren’t interested, which means we’ve lost the payment. PayPal are thieves.
