### PayPal Money Won’t Transfer: Seeking a Solution

Yesterday, I received a payment from a friend via PayPal, but I hit a roadblock when trying to send those funds to my bank card. Whenever I attempt to make an instant transfer to my card, I consistently receive the familar alert: “Denied – Instant transfer using Card”. This has definitely added stress to what should have been a simple transaction.

Initially, I suspected there might be an issue with the card details stored in my PayPal account, but there don’t appear to be any problems on that front. The card is active and I haven’t received any warning or issues from my bank regarding its status. Another possibility that crossed my mind was the currency difference, as my friend sent the payment in Canadian dollars (CAD) and my account is setup in US dollars (USD).

PayPal does allow transactions in different currencies, but it’s not always straightforward. I was hoping to convert the CAD into USD in PayPal before I tried transferring the funds to my card, but the process has not gone as smoothly as expected. PayPal’s support documents haven’t provided the clarity I was hoping for, and there don’t seem to be any apparent steps to convert currencies within the interface.

It feels like I might be missing something simple or overlooking a necessary step in the process. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue with PayPal? I’d be grateful if someone could offer some guidance or share their experience. Could it be that instant transfers using card deposits are not supported in all currency types? Is there a workaround to make this transaction happen?
