## PayPal Credit Chaos: When a Credit Nightmare Turns Into a Blackhole of Silence

So, let me paint you a picture. A picture of frustration, confusion, and frankly, utter disbelief. I’m talking about my recent ordeal with PayPal Credit, a service that started off promising but has quickly become a saga of unanswered complaints and automated nightmare scenarios.

Back when PayPal Credit first launched, I decided to give it a whirl. Made a purchase, paid it off, no big deal, right? Wrong.

Out of the blue, I received a call claiming I’d missed a payment. Confused, I investigated and uncovered the dark truth: despite not having logged into my PayPal Credit account or authorized any further charges, my standard PayPal purchases were being automatically billed to it!

After lodging a complaint and a whole lot of back and forth, the charges were thankfully reversed to my debit card. You’d think that’d be the end of it, wouldn’t you? Nope.

Fast forward six months, and the same thing is happening. Payments to Google and Netflix are vanishing into the PayPal Credit abyss, despite my having no intentions of using this service for these subscriptions.

This time, my attempts to contact customer service have been met with deafening silence. I sent a message, crickets. Raised an official complaint? Crickets again.

But the pièce de résistance? A letter arrived in my mailbox today, proclaiming I’d missed a payment and threatening to black list me – effectively ruining my financial reputation based on a system apparently designed to operate outside the laws of logic and communication!

I’m left wondering: does PayPal even have a UK call centre accessible to someone seeking actual human interaction and problem-solving? I’m bracing myself for a barrage of automated responses and a frustrating journey through a linguistic minefield.

This whole experience has been a complete rollercoaster of emotions: anger, confusion, frustration, and a healthy dose of helplessness. One can only hope that PayPal wakes up and realizes that treating customers with respect and providing accessible customer service shouldn’t be an alien concept.
