## My Money’s on Hold: What Can I Do When a Seller Claims a Payment is Pending?

So, I’m in a bit of a pickle. I’m trying to get a refund on an item I bought, and the seller keeps telling me the refund can’t be processed because the payment is still “on hold.” This has been going on for **ten days**, and it’s starting to feel like I’m being strung along.

Here’s the thing: I actually made another purchase from a different seller using the same payment method (PayPal Credit) the very next day. That payment went through **immediately**. So why is my original payment seemingly stuck?

I’m not saying the seller is intentionally trying to scam me, but this situation is starting to raise some red flags.

**Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there any way to verify if a payment is actually on hold?**

I’m hoping to get to the bottom of this and get my refund sooner rather than later. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
