Here is a blog post in English:

**Who Said No Two Party System?**

The concept of a two-party system has been the cornerstone of American politics for centuries. However, have you ever wondered where this system originated from and whether it was always the intention of the Founding Fathers?

As it turns out, the Founding Fathers did not always envision a two-party system. In fact, George Washington, the first President of the United States, believed that political parties would be damaging to American society and needed to be avoided. Despite this, the politics of the 1790s were dominated by the arguments of two distinct political groups: the Federalists and the Anti-Federalists.

According to Lee Drutman, a political scientist, John Adams once said that a division of the republic into two great parties “is to be dreaded.” This sentiment was echoed by George Washington himself, who worried that future political squabbles would undermine the concept of popular sovereignty in the United States.

Moreover, the Constitution itself did not provide for any political parties. Instead, the Founding Fathers preferred a presidential election system where the top vote-getter got to be president, with the number two candidate becoming the vice president.

So, how did the two-party system come to be? While it may have been inevitable in a republican government, it was not necessarily the intention of the Founding Fathers. Over time, the Federalists and Anti-Federalists evolved into the Democratic-Republican Party and the Federalist Party, respectively.

Today, many experts argue that the two-party system is no longer working in the way it was intended. With more and more voters identifying as independents, it’s clear that the system needs to be reformed.
