The better question given how polarized certain states are is, which states are most likely to leave the union. in terms any new states added, i don’t see puerto rico being added, because to Republicans that means 2 more democrat senators bring the number to 50-52 which mean they would only need 1 rep senator to flip to tie the measure, and 2 to defeat it, a much easier task to do for the democratic party in the current scenario, if they allow PR to join the union after they voted for …
