One way is to multiply the numerator and denominator of each fraction by the denominator of the other fraction. For example, with the fractions 5/6 and 4/7, compute 5/6 x 7/7 = 35/42 and 4/7 x 6/6 =24/42. The largest fraction is 35/42 so 5/6 must be greater than 4/7. The player who has the largest fraction wins all of the cards played in the round.
