This is the best answer. Make sure your container actually covers the page, otherwise it will work, but only in the current height of the container. Best answer – that 100vh is the key to perfectly centering in all browsers. It’s not working becase align-self property is used instead of align-items.

The align-content property aligns a flex container’s lines within the flex container when there is extra space in the cross-axis, similar to how justify-content aligns individual items within the main-axis. Note, this property has no effect on a single-line flex container. In terms of this question, forget about align-content.

The parent of those div aka the div.row has no height, it’s height is defined by it’s content aka those divs you’re trying to align vertically, therefore there’s no space for those div to be aligned as they should be.. as you may have notice in that particularly example they have, you can see the pink background, that is the div.row and it have a min-height of 10rm.
