These are far too small. If you want to see a bacterium, you need a really powerful magnifying glass. In other words, you need a microscope.

Observing bacteria under the light microscope – MicrobeHunter.com
Bacteria are difficult to see with a bright-field compound microscope for several reasons: They are small: In order to see their shape, it is necessary to use a magnification of about 400x to 1000x. The optics must be good in order to resolve them properly at this magnification.https://sciencing.com / bacteria-under-microscope-5452821.htmlhttps://sciencing.com / bacteria-under-microscope-5452821.html

Microorganisms How to View Bacteria Under a Microscope Updated July 22, 2019 By Adrianne Jerrett Bacteria are microscopic and live almost everywhere on Earth. The human body alone naturally contains around 39 trillion bacterial cells, which is more than the 30 trillion human cells that make up the body.https://www.nhm.ac.uk/discover/news/2022/june/worlds-largest-bacteria-are-visible-naked-eye.htmlhttps://www.nhm.ac.uk/discover/news/2022/june/worlds-largest-bacteria-are-visible-naked-eye.html
The world’s largest bacteria are visible to the naked eye
23 juin 2022268 The world’s largest bacterium has been discovered amongst the mangroves of the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe. Measuring over a centimetre long, Thiomargarita magnifica is over 5000 times bigger than the average microbe. An eyelash-sized bacterium is breaking records and boundaries as it redefines what single-celled life can be.https://www.snexplores.org/article/bacteria-are-all-around-us-and-thats-okayhttps://www.snexplores.org/article/bacteria-are-all-around-us-and-thats-okay

Victoria Orphan Bacteria play central roles in many ecosystems. These include the oceans, soil and atmosphere. They’re also a big part of the global food web. Bacteria make it possible for all other life on Earth to exist. That’s why scientists say these single-celled organisms are the invisible backbone of all life — at least on Earth.https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20150727-what-are-the-limits-of-human-visionhttps://www.bbc.com/future/article/20150727-what-are-the-limits-of-human-vision

We discussed two types of staining in the post: simple stains and differential stains. The size of bacteria. Most of the bacteria range from 0.2-2 µm in diameter. The length can range from 1-10 µm for filamentous or rod-shaped bacteria. The most well-known bacteria: E. coli, their average size is ~1.5 µm in diameter and 2-6 µm in length.https://www.nbcnews.com/science/science-news/bacteria-have-ability-see-eye-opening-study-finds-n515141https://www.nbcnews.com/science/science-news/bacteria-have-ability-see-eye-opening-study-finds-n515141

Magnification and resolution. Microscopes enhance our sense of sight – they allow us to look directly at things that are far too small to view with the naked eye. They do this by making things appear bigger (magnifying them) and at the same time increasing the amount of detail we can see (increasing our ability to distinguish between two …https://www.natgeokids.com/uk/discover/science/general-science/scientists-discover-bacteria-can-seehttps://www.natgeokids.com/uk/discover/science/general-science/scientists-discover-bacteria-can-see

This lead the scientists to conclude that the tiny bacteria – which are only 0.003mm wide – see in a very similar way to how we do, by using their entire self to focus the light – like a tiny human eye or a mini camera lens. lesoutrali bot
