Refund due but original payment source no longer available

Hi, I’m new to this so i hope i do it right! my question is as follows: made a purchase, paid with a credit card i had at the time, never received the goods so opened a case in the resolution centre (which still hasn’t been resolved after a month) anyway, the credit card i used to pay for the items I’ve not received, i had to use for some other things as i found myself in a bit of financial difficulty and as a consequence ended up not being able to pay it and going way over my limit so they’ve (rightly so) taken the card away.when paypal close the case and I’m awarded my refund, how will i get that? Everything I’ve read states that the return will be issued the same way the pat Rey was initially made…but obviously i no longer have the account or card!, I’ve also deleted the card from my PayPal wallet. Does anyone know what happens in this type of situation? Many Thanks
