The email notifications sent after payment is made to eBay no longer contain an item number or item description. I can understand remove the seller’s email address for security reasons, but why remove the detailed information on the purchase? It used to be easy to see what the notification was for, just look in the email and you had an item number and description. Now I have eBay” and a dollar amount. Why the change? what are the security implications of keeping the eBay item number and description in the notifications?”
