Online shopping can be convenient, affordable, and exciting — but not always. I recently had a frustrating and deeply disappointing experience with a seller on AliExpress, and I feel compelled to share it to warn others.

The Problem: A Lost Package and Zero Accountability

On May 4, I placed an order through a Chinese seller on AliExpress. Unfortunately, the package was lost at the airport, and despite more than two months of waiting, I have yet to receive my item or a refund.

I opened a dispute through the platform, hoping for a quick resolution. Instead, I encountered repeated delays and vague responses. The seller ignored my messages, and AliExpress’s so-called Buyer Protection turned out to be completely ineffective.

A Never-Ending Loop of “Wait 10 More Days”

Each time I checked the dispute status, I was told to “wait another 10 days.” This cycle continued again and again, with no actual progress and no accountability from the seller or the platform.

It became clear to me: AliExpress is not a safe place to buy anything of real value. If something goes wrong, you’re on your own.

Final Thoughts: Buyer Beware

I never received my package, and I never got my money back. This experience felt like a scam, and I want others to avoid the same mistake.

If you’re considering buying anything expensive or important on AliExpress — don’t. The risk is simply not worth it, especially when the platform fails to protect honest customers.
