If you would be interested / if you were interested
#1 If you would be interested, I could drive you there. This sentence shocks me. I don’t understand how it can be correct to use would after if, especially if I compare it to my native romance languages. I would’ve said: If you were interested, I could drive you there. So what’s going on here? Are both sentences considered correct?

Il y a 5 joursBe Careful! Don’t use `interesting’ to describe things which make a lot of money. For example, ` an interesting job ‘ is one that is enjoyable because it makes you feel interested, not one in which you earn a large salary. For a job that earns a lot of money, use well-paid.
