Unfortunately, it’s not possible to obtain the 2020 Service Medal in CS:GO anymore. Service Medals are awarded annually based on reaching level 40 by the end of the year. Since it’s currently 2024, the 2020 medal is no longer available.
However, you can still focus on ranking up and aim to get the current year’s Service Medal (2024) or any future year’s medal by following these steps:

Play on Official Valve Servers: Earning XP to rank up only happens in official game modes on Valve servers. Playing on third-party platforms like ESEA or FACEIT won’t contribute to your XP.

Since you have now gotten your first service medal you can either get next years service medal by getting back up to rank 40 and wait for the year to end or upgrade your service metal by reaching rank 40 agian and click the get service medal button. if you want a better one you just repeat, get to rank 40 agian and click the button.
