Why are they reporting negative remarks? I never even use this service. Should I close?

Should I close my account alltogether? I never use it and today I discovered a negative remark on my credit! Apparently SYNCB/PPC reported me for inactivity and closed my account the Bill Me Later account!! What the heck? If I close the account will they report me again?
