Trouble making a purchase

This is my first time using paypal credit. I’m trying to make a purchase. It says press paypal credit then sends me to the paypal page. asks me to sync a debit or credit card to the account. I didn’t think you needed to to that with paypal credit. It also says my pay later wasn’t accepted. Not sure what to do.
