Okay, fellow Country Life Meadows fans, I need to share my recent (and frustrating) experience with you!

I decided to treat myself to some Farm Cash, like I *rarely* do. I went through the usual PayPal purchase process, entered my address (something I don’t recall ever being asked before!), and hit confirm. I thought I was paying a grand total of $9.99.

**Cue the surprise (and confusion):** A few minutes later, I receive my receipt and boom! An extra $1.00 tacked on as tax. 🤯

Tax on a game purchase? *Never* in my farming career! I’ve been playing this game for ages and have never seen this before. I scoured PayPal and Country Life Meadows’ website for any information on this new policy, but came up empty.

I’m even wondering if I somehow accidentally logged into a different PayPal account, because as I said, I’ve never been prompted to enter my address for a game purchase before.

This has left me quite shaken, honestly. Now I’m hesitant to even buy Farm Cash at all! Seriously, Country Life Meadows, don’t you think it’s only fair to let us know about potential added taxes *before* we agree to the purchase?
